Six Cores - 4GB RAM - 1TB NVMe Drive
At the core of our revamped Apollo Platform is a supercharged Single Board Computer (SBC). This is not your typical Raspberry Pi. Our board features 6 super fast ARMv8 cores running at 2GHz, 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM, and our custom PCIe NVMe M.2 board which hosts 1TB of SSD storage and is upgradable. It even has its own mini heatsink/fan to make sure the Apollo is operating at peak performance even under high load!
This gives our system the ability to download a FULL un-Pruned Bitcoin node in under 48 hours. This is nearly 10x faster than our closest SBC Full Node competitor, and is nearly as fast as a dedicated desktop computer.
Hook up a Monitor, Keyboard, and Mouse and you have a dedicated low power desktop system that runs 24/7. Install any Bitcoin Application, Use any Hardware Wallets, download any Dev tools and use our platform as your dedicated Bitcoin development system. The possibilities are endless.

We started FutureBit six years ago because we were witnessing a trend where affordable and accessible hardware to mine was slowly disappearing. Bitcoin’s hash power was shifting to loud, power hungry server mines that only few control. The equipment that is available very few can use to mine in their home, and cost thousands of dollars. We needed to change this, and the FutureBit Apollo finally enables anyone to mine Bitcoin at home once again. This has not been possible since the early CPU and GPU days of mining.
We took our years of ASIC board design experience and developed a new hashboard from the ground up that enables nearly 3 Terahashes of Mining performance at under 200 watts, with almost no noise. You can have the FutureBit Apollo mining in your bedroom at night and only hear its soft 25dba fan.
We spared no expense with our design; we are engineers at heart, and made sure our board will provide years of continuous 24/7 operation.
Flexibility for everyone
We realize that the Bitcoin community is made up a diverse set of individuals, from someone who learned about Bitcoin through the recent controversies in the Stock Market, to someone who has understood its core principals since its inception during the 2008-09 crash. We built our base unit with that in mind, and every hashboard has its own micro-USB port. This allows us to control it though any USB enabled device, and enables multiple ways to configure and run the FutureBit Apollo BTC. There are two main versions you can purchase through our store, the Standard Version, and the Full Package Version.
Full Package:
This is the version we have been describing so far, it has the built in 6 Core ARM Controller and 1TB SSD. This version can control other Standard units described below.
Who is it for? If you are just getting started and want a ready to run out of the box experience this is for you. Want the same experience but double or triple your hash power? Just add more Standard units to your order, plug the supplied USB cable to the back of the Full Package unit, and it will automatically recognize the additional units and start mining with no configuration!
Standard Unit:
The Standard unit is just the hashboard that does all the Bitcoin Mining work, and NO controller. This version needs another Full Package unit, PC, or Laptop to control it and will NOT run on its own.

Both Standard and Full Package units come with or without a power supply. If you have extra ATX or 6-Pin connector PSUs then you dont need to purchase with a power supply. BOTH power connectors need to be plugged in the back of the Apollo unit if you are using your own PSU.

We are proud to be one of the very few US companies that has chosen to manufacture in the states, and one of the only US based Bitcoin hardware manufacturers. Our state of the art facility in California does everything from assembling our complicated hash-board, to end product assembly and boxing. This produces an unrivaled hand crafted product which is assembled with care, and is nearly indestructible with its aluminum enclosure. With almost all Bitcoin hardware and ASICs being controlled and manufactured in China, we think its critical that the US plays a larger role in hardware and manufacturing, and hope FutureBit and the Apollo BTC can serve that purpose!
